Get your dry fly fishing fix on some of the most beautiful and pristine freestone rivers and lakes in the world. Whether you’re a novice or expert—this region’s incredibly productive waters make fishing as fun, friendly or challenging as you want it to be.

Skiing & Snowboarding
Nearby Fernie Alpine Resort delivers 2,500 acres of skiable terrain, 142 runs, and five alpine bowls—so it’s safe to say you won’t be bored. With terrain for skiers and riders of all levels, the most snow and biggest vertical in the Rockies, this is definitely where you want to spend your winter holiday.
Lifts open early December–mid-April
Mountain Biking
Twenty minutes from the lodge you’ll find some of the best lift-accessed mountain biking in Canada. With wide, flowing trails for beginner and intermediate riders and challenging steep and technical single track trails for advanced and expert riders, the whole family or group can get out there.
Bike Park and trails open late June–early September
Horseback Riding
Bring your horses along. We offer board and bale right on the property with acres and acres of pasture, and nearby trails to explore. Don’t have your own steed? No problem. We can arrange a guided backcountry tour so you can ride through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world.
Golfing
Choose from three nearby courses—including the casual 9-hole Sparwood Golf Club and the professional 18-hole, par 70 course at the Fernie Golf Club. Wherever you play, you can expect views on views. Bring your own set of clubs or travel light—rentals are available.
