For over 20 years, our family has been pouring love into this special property to restore the historic farmhouse, create an abundant wildlife sanctuary, and offer a truly remarkable way to experience the Canadian Rockies.
We’ve thought of every detail so our guests can get exactly what they need from their time here—whether that’s a little R&R, some adventure or a chance to reconnect with nature and loved ones. Come to the lodge and leave the stresses of the world behind. We know you’ll find a renewed sense of peace and stack on enough memories to last a lifetime.
We fell in love with this uniquely beautiful and wild part of the Rocky Mountains the first time we laid eyes on them in a National Geographic article titled, “Crown of the Continent.” We worked our whole life to get our own slice of this paradise and share it with fellow adventure-seekers.
To help us realize this dream, we enlisted the help of local artisans who are both talented makers and celebrated members of the outdoor community. The house features their craftsmanship from wall to wall—every piece is handmade and completely unique to the lodge.
In every room you’ll find local artisans’ incredible artwork depicting the wildlife that make this region so awe-inspiring. From the grand oak doors and gorgeous reclaimed wood cabinets to the custom bed frames with inset vintage fishing rods—every room inside feels as special as the landscape outside.
While restoring this property it was so important to us to honour the region and the people, animals and materials that call it home.
